Broadcast / Future-wise: On the Horizon

Here are some previews of some upcoming releases we're working on. When I say we, I mean the people in these bands, because I haven't really done anything for these releases yet. I've been partying. I mean, it was summer, the weather was great, beer is great... what do you want?

So the Valium Aggelein and Calm (free download) reissues are coming, but enough of that retrospecting, check out these NEW things coming soon:

Fotosputnik

Chicago trio Fotosputnik delivers a collection of early, unfinished and unreleased orphan tracks on the upcoming “Omega Centauri” EP. Although the band is currently spanning the globe in satellite mode, they love you so much that this entire EP is going to be a free download.

Fotosputnik - Tiny Ghost Echoes

Tiny Ghost Echoes, 03:19. From the upcoming "Omega Centauri" EP on The Static Cult Label.

Prime Mover

The one-man force behind Prime Mover lives in Seattle, Washington. I think he pretends to not  be super smart most of the time, but I am on to him. He is smart. Too smart, maybe. Jon Mercer is working on putting a bundle of his songs together for some sort of release, we don't even know what it will be yet.

Prime Mover - Long Division

Long Division, 03:22. From an upcoming release (TBD) on The Static Cult Label.

Canaan Dove Amber

Mr. Amber has done time in a few great bands: Duster, Helvetia, Arthur & Yu, Mohinder, Valium Aggelein, The East Reed Ghetto Hustlers, Calm... his songwriting is consistently brilliant, and his subtle ways always rub me just right. Finally he's assembling some solo material for a debut in 2010.

Canaan Dove Amber - Your Shadow Goes

Your Shadow Goes, 04:29. From an upcoming release (TBD) on The Static Cult Label.
